Over the past three decades, Mr. Wilson has mastered the art of creating leverage on behalf of his clients. His thorough knowledge of all aspects of the deal process (evaluation, negotiation, implementation) and experience in various economic climates have enabled his clients to enjoy the most favorable terms possible in their respective markets. Widely considered to be one of the top office tenant representation brokers in the U.S., Mr. Wilson has completed well over 1,000 transactions across the country.

Prior to founding TRU, Mr. Wilson was an Executive Vice President with HSA Commercial, a Senior Vice President at Prime Group Realty Trust – Corporate Services, a Vice President at Realsource, and an Assistant Vice President at Irvine Associates.

CLIENTS: Mr. Wilson has provided Office Tenant Representation services to a vast array of corporations, not-for-profits and institutions, including: Advocate Health Care, Aon, Chesapeake Energy Corporation, The Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago, ING, Luce-Forward, RTKL, Turner Construction Company, University of Illinois, UNUM Corporation and WR Berkley Corporation.

PROPERTY & DEVELOPMENT EXPERIENCE: Having direct experience in each of the key disciplines (brokerage, development, finance, management) within the commercial office industry, enables Mr. Wilson to provide his “Tenant” clients with an in-depth, seasoned perspective when assessing their office lease options. On behalf of clients, Mr. Wilson has searched for & identified strategic land sites, negotiated & acquired the preferred site, and remained intimately involved in the design, development and leasing of new properties. He has also strategically re-positioned properties and directed leasing efforts in all classifications of office buildings.

PROFESSIONAL OPINION: Mr. Wilson has often been contacted by lenders and real estate investors interested in his perspective on commercial office market conditions and forecasts. Always a student of the office market, he has contributed noteworthy articles that have been featured in several industry publications including “Micro Windows”, identifying opportunities that come and go before the general market is even aware of their presence; “Chicago’s Secondary Market”, forecasting the impact of mergers and consolidation on the overall space inventory, and “Years in Review”, a detailed overview of transactions and inventory in the Chicago office market tracked over twenty years, which has been utilized by lenders and investors as a market report.

EDUCATION & COMMUNITY: Born and raised in Chicago, Mr. Wilson received a B.S. in Marketing from Northern Illinois University “NIU” in 1980 and has continued his real estate professional education through CCIM, IDRC and other industry organizations. He is a co-founder and board member of The NIU Executive Business Club, has served on the board of directors for Resurrection Home Health Foundation (which provides care to chronically ill homebound elderly), and is an active volunteer in several community, school and church programs. Mr. Wilson and his wife have raised four children and reside in Naperville, IL.

Ryan ForanAfter almost 10 years of exclusively representing office tenants, Mr. Foran has perfected all of the strategic and technical skills required to secure market-setting deal terms for his clients and has emerged as a leader in Chicago’s tenant representation community. During the past 24 months alone he has been directly responsible for more than 200,000 SF of Client requirements across the U.S. Prior to joining TRU, Mr. Foran was a Vice President with HSA Commercial, Inc., following several years as a Regional Sales Manager in the Enterprise Software Industry.

EDUCATION & COMMUNITY: Originally from Evanston, IL, Mr. Foran received a B.A. in Communications & Anthropology from DePauw University in Greencastle, IN, in 1997. He currently serves on the board of the McGaw YMCA of Evanston’s Camp Echo, located in Fremont, Michigan and is an active volunteer in various community and school programs. Mr. Foran and his wife reside on Chicago’s North side with their three young sons.

He has developed and implemented various cost reduction strategies such as portfolio rationalization, process re-engineering and automation, lease administration and audit optimization, and outsourcing of non-core real estate functions.

Mr. Tenorio is currently active with TRU’s portfolio of national clients in markets across the U.S. Prior to joining TRU, he was a real estate Client Executive with Accruent, a Vice President at Colliers International and a Director in Cushman & Wakefield’s Client Solutions Group.

CONSULTING EXPERIENCE: In his more than 20 years of commercial real estate experience, Mr. Tenorio has worked with numerous Fortune 1000 companies to reduce costs in the areas of site selection, project management, and lease administration. He has played a key role analyzing areas of opportunity and leading several engagements to automate the real estate function and increase lease administration operating efficiencies. Mr. Tenorio implemented a global platform that enabled his lease administration teams to manage more than 60 million square feet of owned and leased properties in 55 countries across the world, serving as extension of the real estate department on behalf of clients such as Fluor, Thomson Reuters, Johnson Diversey, DHL, and Barclays Global, to name a few.

In addition, Mr. Tenorio has worked with several retail clients (Chico’s, Collective Brands, and Brown Shoe) to evaluate, develop, and implement cost reduction strategies across the entire real estate life cycle from transaction management to construction management to facilities management. He has also led several real estate technology consulting projects for such clients as PetSmart, EDMC, BankBoston, and AmeriKing, involving technology assessments, business case and functional requirements development, return on investment analysis, and system implementations.

PROPERTY EXPERIENCE: While Mr. Tenorio has spent the last 14 years predominantly focused on the Tenant’s perspective, he began his career working for a Chicago area developer. In the course of his tenure there, Mr. Tenorio’s responsibilities included residential and commercial property management, construction management and office leasing.

EDUCATION & COMMUNITY: Mr. Tenorio received a B.S. in Business Administration from Loyola University in Chicago and has continued his real estate professional education through CCIM, IDRC and other industry organizations. He is an active volunteer in several community, school and church programs. Mr. Tenorio resides in Barrington, IL with his wife and three children.

Tony, an independent contractor with TRU Office Advisors, LLC, brings a wealth of experience from his career working with an international construction company followed by several years with a boutique Chicago office developer. He has worked on ground up high rise development and interior tenant improvement in the fields of office, retail and affordable housing. Additionally, Tony has assisted in developing budgets and due diligence reports required for corporate acquisition.

Tony has in-depth knowledge and firsthand experience of office interior space planning, estimating, construction, trade management, code requirements, and project scheduling & coordination.

Once we had the opportunity to work directly with Tony on a TRU assignment, it was immediately apparent that he clearly understands the “Value Add” that TRU strives to deliver to each client. We are very proud to have such a skilled project manager aligned with our service team.
